JAMMU, Sept 10: Bahujan Samaj Party State general secretary Rakesh Wazir during his tour of flood effected areas of Kanyala including Madeen, Nagola, Karal etc, showed great resentment against the officials of 15 FAD Ammunition Depot Kanyala who are creating hurdles in re- pair work of the damaged houses of the people of Kanyala and adjoining areas on the ground that construction would not be allowed within one kilometer radius of the ammunition depot.
Mr Wazir said it is ironical that lessee is dictating the terms to the owners of the lands and that too when neither their lands are acquired nor the rehabilitation is done and in absence of that merely stopping the people from making their damaged houses and even repairing their cattle sheds particularly in this rain havoc is nothing else except torture to them.
Asking  the Army as well as administration to either take their lands by paying the compensation and re-habilitate them properly by making houses for them and in absence of that merely stopping them from making or repairing their collapsed or damaged structures. The BSP leader said that dictatorial attitude would not be tolerated at any cost.
He also asked the Center as well as the State to intervene into the matter.
