JAMMU, Sept 10: Chief patron of National Panthers Party Prof Bhim Singh accompanied by senior leaders of the Panthers Party visited several areas on Indo-Pak International Border and other flood affected areas to take stock of the loss and damage of the property and loss of lives.
Prof Singh regretted that Govt. has not been able to set up a single information centre regarding the thousands of people stranded in Kashmir valley due to flood. He said that even Raj Bhawan, Chief Minister, Police Headquarters have no telephonic connection available at all. He demanded that the Governor should take over the administration under Section 92 of J&K Constitution to save the lives of nearly four lakh flood trapped human beings in Kashmir valley.
The information offices set up by the Panthers Party in Jammu, New Delhi have received hundreds of enquiries about the missing persons but there is no communication with any section of the administration, he added.
