Sir,
There is no denying the fact that the doctors are called the saviours of mankind. It is the expertise and timely treatment of doctors that saves people of their serious diseases.
But unfortunately the noble profession of doctors has turned into money minting business as the profession has now been commercialized. The trauma of the patient begins from the very first day when he gets inflicted with some disease. In consulting the concerned doctor, he has to knock his door at a private clinic. As soon as the patient gets access to the doctor, he at the very first instance asks the patient to undergo a number of tests which he has to get done from the lab recommended by him.
The patient has to purchase the medicines prescribed by the doctor from the very chemist in whose shop the doctor practises. The fees paid by the patient, in so many cases last for only 10 days and after that he has to pay the fees again. The fees paid by the patient, in so many cases last for only 10 days and after that he has to pay the fees again. The minimum fees to be paid ranges between Rs 300-500. Such treatment may suit to rich person but what about a poor fellow who can’t afford such an amount. So such patients generally go to Govt hospitals where they receive a raw deal. So in order to soothe such persons, the doctors should act in a humanitarian way to give comfort to such ailing persons. After all money is not everything. The noble profession should be based upon noble principles.
Yours etc…
