Refer to a news item published in September 13 edition of the Excelsior pertaining to Government move to initiate action against MD SRTC JS Tandon, Mr Tandon has clarified that he was very much at Srinagar and was regularly attending the meetings convened by Chief Minister and Chief Secretary at Hari Niwas after having been rescued from TRC after two days of nightmare due to floods.
He said the SRTC has deployed trucks in last 4 days braving all odds in different districts including Srinagar yesterday for relief measures. He added that he has been moving to different locations for meetings and taking care of stranded crew.
