MENDHAR, Sept 13: State general gecretary, youth wing of People’s Democratic Party, Advocate Nadeem Ahmed Khan today toured the flood and badly affected areas of Mendhar especially Balakote block, accompanied by Ch Faiz, Master Majeed Khan, Ayoob Khan, youth leader Waqar Khan and others.
During his tour, he met with Sarpanchs of Panchayats Sangiote, Chandial, Dharti, Bhrooti, Upper Manjari, Balakote, Dhargloon where the Sarpanchs criticised the administration’s approach towards their Halqas. They said that till now no Government official had come to look the conditions of public living in the open sky without food. They alleged that the claims of Government attention are only papers not on ground reality. No single tent or ration is provided to our family, said the families living in Bhathadhurian Higher Secondary School.
He said the Government should immediately involve itself or take Army help in opening the roads and providing relief like ration, blankets and tents to the suffering families.
