LOS ANGELES, Sept 14: Former ‘Mentalist’ star Owain Yeoman is joining the cast of ‘Turn: Washington’s Spies’.
Craig Silverstein’s series – which is based on the book Washington’s Spies – chronicles the very first spy ring in the US during the Revolutionary War, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Yeoman has been cast as the traitorous general Benedict Arnold in the upcoming second season of ‘Turn: Washington’s Spies’.
The actor will be a season regular in the ensemble AMC drama series.
This role marks Yeoman’s return to television following his and co-star Amanda Righetti’s departure from ‘The Mentalist’ earlier this year.
AMC renewed ‘Turn: Washington’s Spies’ for a 10-episode second season in June. (PTI)
