JAMMU, Sept 17: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a social activist Ashok Sharma challenging Rule 17 of Reservations Rules framed under Reservation Act of the State, Division Bench of High Court comprising Justice Virender Singh and Justice Tashi Rabstan today granted two weeks time to the Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) for response.
After hearing Advocate Kuldip Singh Parihar for the petitioner, DB observed, “supplementary affidavit of the petitioner has already been taken on record. However, Advocate Anil Sethi appearing for the BOPEE has not responded till date”.
Accordingly, DB granted two weeks time for filing the response to the PIL.
