RAJOURI, Sept 17: Chief spokesperson of JKPCC Ravinder Sharma (MLC) has provided an amount of Rs 20 lakh out of his Constituency Development Fund for relief and rehabilitation measures for those affected by recent rain and floods and Rs 76 lakh for improving power supply in Nowshera and Sunderbani areas.
Mr. Sharma undertook tour of various parts of Nowshera and Sunderbani sub-divisions to take stock of the relief and restoration measures undertaken by the authorities and met cross section of people to listen to their problems. He also visited several affected families in different villages besides those staying in temporary camps in Government buildings or tentage accommodation provided by the Army authorities.
He also provided funds to the tune of Rs 76 lakh for improvement of power supply system in Nowshera and Sunderbani tehsils out of his Constituency Development Funds and asked the department to expedite the process.
