UDHAMPUR, Sept 17: State president of National Panthers Party and MLA Udhampur Balwant Singh Mankotia toured Lander – Dhanota Panchayats in Panchari Block to assess the condition of affected families due to recent heavy rains and subsequent landslides.
He also addressed a large gathering of the people in the area and accused the Government of taking no care of the affected people in this natural calamity.
He alleged that the District Administration was unable to handle the situation properly and difficulties of the affected people were increasing day by day.
Seeking to declare present turmoil a National calamity, he demanded that the relief be provided at the doorsteps of the affected families.
Balwant Singh Mankotia also exhorted general public of Udhampur to donate more for the affected families.
