IMS holds workshop

JAMMU, Sept 19: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) conducted one day workshop-cum-seminar designed and offered by highly experienced HCL certified faculty Anil Khar, Lead Trainer and Swati Gupta, Centre Head, HCL Career Development Centre, Jammu on Ethical Hacking for the students of MCA Vth Semester.
HCL CDC, a leading IT Industry and Market leader in IT Education with its 70+ Centers across India, latest being at Jammu, imparted students a competitive edge in the market for seeking the job opportunity in networking, software and hardware.
Prof J R Dhotra in his inaugural welcome address conveyed his gratitude to the entire team of HCL-CDC and theme and significance of this workshop to all the participants.
Students of IMS took part in Industry based Live demonstrated projects on Ethical Hacking and various other IT security (Cyber Security) related projects like, Wireless Network Password Hacking, Windows Password Hacking, Networked computers -freeze by dossing which are carried out through ‘Security by Obfuscation’ on Dot Net Platform.
Students learnt the pros and cons of the latest technologies in the IT market and about the security breaches in the corporate in the IT Industry and how to deal with these security issues.
The workshop-cum-seminar was coordinated by Rakesh Kumar, Lecturer cum System Administrator IMS.
