POONCH, Sept 19: While a B.Ed student died of consuming poison yesterday in Mendhar, a BA Part–II girl student of Degree College Mendhar made suicide bid while returning from College.
A police spokesman said that Nazia Tabusam, daughter of Mohd Shafi of Salwa Nad village was found unconscious near the college gate by the other girl students. They raised alarm and the girl was rushed to Sub District Hospital, Mendhar. The doctors washed her stomach and referred her to GMC Jammu. The police has registered a case FIR No. 140/ 2014 in this connection.
