Manohar takes stock of damages to Fisheries Deptt

JAMMU, Sept 21: Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma, Minister of State Fisheries today visited Directorate Fisheries at Canal Road and took stock of the damages caused to the office building due to incessant rains.
The Minister took stock of the damaged record room, laboratory and the residences of the employees of the department.
He also enquired about the well being of the kiths and kin of the employees who had also suffered loss during the floods.
He instructed the officers to make a detailed report of the losses and submit to Government at the earliest so that steps can be taken to repair the damages.
He also instructed the officers to rope-in experts to retrieve the lost record so that the office work runs smoothly.
