SSP Vigilance delivers lecture on cyber security

UDHAMPUR, Sept 23: Information Warfare (IW) awareness workshop was conducted at Air Force station Udhampur by Indian Air force here today. The warfare camp will conclude on September, 29.
SSP Vigilance M. Y. Kichloo was the special guest at the inaugural ceremony.
For a week long awareness workshop major activities will be conducted are: series of events and competition, poster and slogan competition for school children, poster and slogan competition for Air Warriors, Quiz competition for Air Warriors and awareness regarding cyber security.
SSP Vigilance in the inaugural ceremony delivered a lecture on Cyber security.
He said country like India should immediately set up a National Cyber Security, which will prevent sabotage, espionage and other forms of attack that could hurt the country.
“The architecture of National cyber security should be like to Protect critical information infrastructure and other networks, should involve monitoring, certification and assurance of India’s networks by designated agencies and bodies in accordance with the law,” Yasin Kichloo said.
M. Y. Kichloo lecture was appreciated by Station Commander IAF and CEO, IAF. He was also presented with a momento as a token of love and look forward for his cooperation.
The various stalls like I Ball, Logitech and India Computer Care are also installed in the lawn to create awareness and make familiar with IT gazettes for day to day use in the life for all Air Warrior and their families.
During the inauguration function, the AOC addressed the gathering and thanked all for making the inaugural function successful.
