JAMMU, Sept 23:  Army and locals today paid glowing tribute to Naik Subedar Lekh Raj Choudhary, a recipient of Vir Chakra posthumously, on his 27th death anniversary at village Dabber Potha in Nowshera tehsil of Rajouri district.
The function was attended among others by Commanding Officer of 2 Jat and local people of the areas.
Naib Subedar Lekh Raj Choudhary of 8 JAK Li had attained martyrdom during `Operation Megh Dhoot’ at Siachen Glacier on this day in 1987.
The Army officers and local people recalled the brave of Lekh Raj Choudhary and paid him glowing tributes.
