KATHUA, Sept 24: The management and Chenab Textile Mills (CTM) has decided to contribute by way of relief material of blankets, utensils sets, GI roofing sheets and bottles of packaged drinking water to the flood affected people of Rajouri, Poonchand Reasi districts of Jammu province and also for flood hit people of Kashmir province.
In a statement issued here, today the CTM is planning to send relief material worth Rs 50 lakh comprising of 15000 blankets, 20,000 bottles of packaged drinking water, 500 sets of utensils including 1000 GI roofing sheets.
It said the company will contribute generously in future if required. The first two trucks of 2000 blankets and 3000 bottles of packaged drinking water each were sent to Poonch and Rajouri districts today and these trucks were flagged off by SSP and ADC Kathua.
