Jammu, Sept 26: Exhorting party workers to reach out to the every section of the society to spread message of the party, senior leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Vikramaditya Singh today said that PDP under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is committed to change destiny of the people of the State.
“Need of the hour is to spread message of the party in very nook and corner of the State to educate the people about visionary agenda of PDP”, Vikramaditya Singh said while addressing party workers of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment. He exhorted party workers to mobilize common masses of become part of movement for change in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Every section has to play its role in shaping up politically emancipated and economically vibrant future for Jammu and Kashmir”, he said and added that PDP is committed to establish a new system of justice and equality in the State.
Terming Gandhi Nagar as prestigious Assembly segment, Singh hoped that PDP would emerge victorious in this segment because people have faith on the policies and programmes of the party. He called upon the workers to mobilize youth because younger generation was annoyed with the present dispensation due to its wrong policies. He said that State has been plunged into unprecedented crises due to the mis-goverance of the present regime and youth were the worst victim of the wrong policies of the Government.
Speaking on the occasion, former Minister, Rangil Singh called upon the party workers to come on streets to peacefully oppose wrong policies of the Government.
Former MP Trilok Singh Bajwa and PDP candidate for Gandhi Nagar constituency Amrik Singh Reen also addressed the gathering.
Meanwhile, Indian Red Cross Society, District Jammu has appointed senior People’s Democratic Party leader Vikramaditya Singh as the patron of the society. On the occasion, Vikramaditya donated relief material to Society for further distribution among flood victims.
While speaking, Singh appealed the people of Jammu to connect to the Society in large number to help the humanity in adverse times.
Executive secretary Suresh Sharma, Co-ordinator Jasmeet Singh, Maj Gen R S Jamwal, Satpal Singh Charak, Susheela Jamwal, Jugal Mahajan and other society members were also present on the occasion.
