SRINAGAR, July 20: Two persons died while as three other were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
Reports said that an unidentified vehicle hit and injured 45 years old lady near Laizbal, Anantnag. The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital, Anantnag where she succumbed to her injuries. The body of deceased is lying in mortuary room of District hospital Anantnag. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A truck bearing registration number JK01C/2971 turned turtle near Ring Bagh, Khrew, resulting in on spot death of conductor of the truck, Shafayat Pathan alias Nazira 34 years son of Raj Pathan resident of Ahmedabad Gali-Nowshera, Kalakote.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK02AB/2921 collided with a tipper bearing registration number JK03B/1550 at Nipora Crossing Qazigund, resulting in injures to the driver of the Wagon-R. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Wagon-R bearing registration number JK03C/4848 collided with the wall at Akoora, Mattan, resulting in injuries to Waheed Ahmad Mir son of Liyaqat Ahmad resident of Kadipora-Anantnag and Umar Manzoor Ahmad Bhat son of Manzoor Ahmad Bhat resident of Lal Bazar, Anantnag. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
