Army organises medical camp at Salotri

SALOTRI, POONCH, Sept 27: Under Operation Sadbhavana of Indian Army, a successful medical camp under the aegis of 6 Sector Rashtriya Rifles was organized, today.
A total three doctors, one civil and two Army were present in the medical camp who provided treatment, consultation, counselling and specialised medical care to the poor  and needy population of all age groups including children, women and elders. Free lumber support belts for patients with backache and walking sticks for the needy were also provided.
The camp was a huge success with participation of about 338 civilians comprising of 106 males, 179 females and 53 children.  The camp was was a true amalgamation of medical fraternity between both Army and civil doctors which was instrumental in carving out a niche for better health efforts to be provided to populace belonging to border areas.
