JAMMU, Sept 29: The volunteer retirement given SRTC workers held protest demonstration near Press Club here today.
The VRS accorded workers led by trade unionist Dev Raj Bali, assembled at Exhibition Ground near Press Club in the morning and held protest in support of their demands. They were demanding payment of their pending arrears of COLA and 6th Pay Commission. They alleged that despite a large number of representations and `dharnas’ the SRTC management has failed to clear their pending arrears.
