Ensure victory of PDP candidates: Rangil Singh

JAMMU, Sept 29: Former Minister and senior leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rangil Singh today called upon party activists to work with dedication to ensure victory of party candidates in the coming assembly election.
Addressing a meeting of party workers of Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment organised by state secretary of the party Rashid Malik, Mr Rangil Singh said that it was need of the hour that party workers would dedicate themselves for the victory of party candidates in the coming Assembly elections.
“On the one hand, we have to work for relief and rehabilitation of flood affected families of the whole state while on the other hand we have to spread message of the party in every nook and corner to ensure victory of party nominees in the coming Assembly elections”, Mr Singh exhorted the workers and asked them to reach out to each and every individual to channelize energy of every citizen for change.
Mr Singh maintained that people of the State are looking towards PDP with big hope. He said that PDP’s model of governance is best suited for the State. He reminded that PDP, during its tenure of just three years, had proved how to provide corruption free governance to the people by bringing total transparency and accountability in the functioning of the Government. He said that policies and programmes of PDP were formulated by incorporating wishes and aspirations of all sections of the society.
“Those who are talking, these days, about model of governance should keep in mind that PDP, during its short span of just three years, had set an example of good governance wherein every individual was provided with the equal opportunity of growth and development”, he said, adding, “during its tenure PDP had carved out a path of peace and equitable development and model of governance implemented by the party is best in all aspects”.
Former MLA, Shanti Devi also spoke on the occasion.
PDP candidate for Gandhi Nagar Assembly segment, Amreek Singh Reen sought support of all leaders and workers to take on opponents.
