JAMMU, Sept 29: Three persons including two women today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu Region.
According to police sources, a married woman namely Ritu (40) wife of Mohinder Singh, resident of Hamirpur, Akhnoor, today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Similarly, one Shiv Kumar (20) son of Vijay and resident of Paloura (Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
In another case a woman namely Vijay Kumari (28) wife of Baljit Singh and resident of Chandva Chadwal falling under Police Station Rajbagh consumed some poisonous substance at her home after which she was shifted to District Hospital Kathua. But later she was referred to GMCH, Jammu.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
