JAMMU, Sept 29: Air Force Station Jammu launched the cleaning drive under the Government of India initiative “Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan”, today.
The personnel and families of AF Station participated in the event with full zeal. School children of IAF School also joined the campaign with the same enthusiasm.
Colourful placards with slogans and message were displayed by the school children to spread the awareness of cleanliness among the mass. On the occasion, Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal, Air Officer Commanding IAF Station Jammu addressed the personnel and reiterated the importance of clean surroundings and environment for a better and healthy life. Personnel, in two teams, carried out the cleaning in and outside the camp area. The great efforts put in by the personnel of Air Force Station Jammu made the campaign a big success.
