KATHUA, Oct 2: A house wife died after she was electrocuted at her residence in village Dhani near here falling under the jurisdiction of Raj Bagh Police Station this afternoon.
She was identified as Tosha Devi, 52, wife of Bhishmber Dass. She was all alone in the house when the mishap took place. According to police Devi was cleaning her floor when she received an electric shock due to short circuit and fell down.
She was rushed to District Hospital Kathua by her neighbours where doctors declared her as brought dead.
The Raj Bagh Police has registered a case under Section 174 and the body was handed over to family after postmortem for performance of last rites.
