JAMMU, Oct 2: A minor was among two, who allegedly ended their lives by hanging at their respective residences.
As per police sources, 14 year-old girl identified as Tania Chib, daughter of late Ram Singh of Pata Paloura allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence.
Finding him hanging, family members informed the police and the body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Meanwhile, a-60-year-old man namely Sat Pal, son of Hansu Ram of Maheshpura, Bakshi Nagar allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence.
Family members of the deceased found him hanging and immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
After completing legal-medical formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
Cases under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started to ascertain the exact reasons behind such extreme steps.
