Srinagar Oct 2: Police today arrested three store keepers of CAPD for violating the recent Government order for distribution of free ration to the flood affectees.
Police said : “Three Ghat Munshi’s were booked by South City police for violation of recent Government order for distribution of free ration to the flood affectees. The Ghat Munshi’s have been arrested.”
A case (FIR no. 80/2014 in Police Station Sher Garhi, 131/2014 in Police station Batamaloo and 85/2014 in Police Station Shaheed Gunj under Section 188 RPC) have been registered against them.
Police has appealed public to report any violation with regard to essential commodities to the nearest police station so that action under law can be taken against the offenders and such violation can be effectively checked.
