It is said that justice is delayed but cannot be denied. It is also said that law will take its own course or none is above law. It is the respect for the law that the society functions otherwise it would have been all chaos and confusion.
After 18 long years, a court in Karnataka has held Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalitha guilty in a disproportionate assets case. She cannot fight any election not to speak of holding any post. The mood of the people, the countrymen and the institutions are increasingly in favour of coming down on culprits indulging in mal-practices, corruption and other irregularities heavily.
