JAMMU, Oct 4: One died on the spot while another person was seriously injured in a head collision between a Maruti car and a mini-bus at National Highway Khanpur, Nagrota, near Rajan Resorts.
According to the reports, Dalip Kohli (55) son of Shiv Charan resident of Trikuta Nagar and his wife, Arumina Kohli in their Maruti Car bearing registration No JK02AB-7934 were going on wrong side when a mini bus having registration No JK02AR-4879 coming from the opposite side hit their vehicle, resulting into on the spot death of Dalip and injuries to his wife, Arumina.
The injured Arumina and dead body of her husband was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, where condition of Arumina is stated to be stable. The body of Dalip was handed over to his family members after conducting postmortem.
A case FIR No 273/14 U/S 279/337, 304 A RPC has been registered at Police Station Nagrota in this regard.
