MNS celebrates 89th Raising Day

JAMMU, Oct 4: 89th Raising Day of the Military Nursing Services (MNS) war celebrated at 166 Military Hospital, today.
On the occasion, Lieutenant General KH Singh, General Officer Commanding, White Knight Corps was the chief guest, while Colonel Sonali Ghosal, Principal Matron and Brigadier Man Mohan Harjai, Commandant 166 Military Hospital were also present.
The MNS Corps was raised on October 1, 1926. The Corps is an integral part of Medical Services of Armed Forces and has always remained an important pillar in patient care. MNS Officers, unmindful of their personal comforts have always been in the forefront, performing commendable task and rendering comprehensive care to the soldiers, veterans and their families in peace as well as in the war. They are efficient and owe unflinching allegiance to the organizational goals and as such, they will always remain an invaluable asset to the health care delivery system of the Indian Armed Forces.
While speaking, Lieutenant General KH Singh congratulated the entire staff of MNS Corps on the occasion of their 89th Raising Day.
