JAMMU, Oct 4: A woman allegedly tried to end her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence in Muthi area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana Police Station.
As per police sources, a married woman namely Sudesha Devi, wife of Bishan Lal, a resident of Muthi, today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
At GMC, the woman was responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
A case in this regard has been registered and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
