JAMMU, Oct 5: As a part of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’ initiative of the Government of India, Nowabad police organized cleanliness drive in the Jewel and adjoining areas here today.
The cleanliness drive was launched by SDPO City West Shriram in presence of SHO Nowabad Police Station Satvinder Singh, SI Vikram Manhas and large number of people. The participants cleaned the roads and also appealed the shopkeepers to keep the roads and their surrounding areas clean.
SDPO City West in his speech advised the shopkeepers to install dustbins outside their business establishments so as to keep the surrounding areas clean.
