BJP will continue to support cause of displaced people: Jugal

JAMMU, Oct 6: BJP has always supported the cause of displaced Pandits who were hounded out from Valley by the terrorists and anti national forces and party will continue to do the same in future also.
This was stated by BJP State president and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma while inaugurating the office of Kashmir displaced Unit of the Party here at Sarwal today.
He said with the opening of the independent office the BJP Unit Kashmir will become more active and it will work more effectively. The new office was opened for the convenience of the displaced people from Valley so that they can meet the coming political challenges more credibly and effectively. He expressed the hope that the office will prove as a great help to the displaced community and for this purpose the efforts of the office bearers of the displaced Unit are required.
Mr Sharma said that BJP has not only functioned as a political party but also as a social organization for the displaced people from the Valley.
He assured the Partymen that BJP will continue to raise their issue in Parliament and outside it.
He, while quoting the National president of the Party, Amit Shah said he too has said that a comprehensive resettlement scheme will be put in place for the displaced people.
Addressing the function Ashok Kaul general secretary (Org) BJP exhorted the displaced people to work hard on every aspect concerning them. These hapless people not only face hardships in their day to day life but also suffer in other matters like voting etc. Many issues of voters and voting were raised at State level and also at the head office level with Election Commission of India.
He alleged that hurdles are being created by certain vested elements in settling their problems and only continuous hard struggle and raising the issues publicly can force the authorities to provide justice to their cause, he added.
Mr Kaul said that if the office is properly utilized and office bearers’ work sincerely it can prove a boon for the displaced community.
President of Displaced BJP, T N Bhat, Chander Mohan Sharma, Lalit Moza, Virender Kuchroo, Bansi Lal Bhat , Yudhvir Sethi, Shilpi Verma, Mohan Lal Sapoori, Subash Jandial, Jaidev Rajwal, T K Dhar, B L Koul, Satish Thaploo, Ashwani Koul Vimal Raina, Sheela Handoo, Santosha Pandita, Raja Ji Koul, PN Pandita and others were present in the function.
