JAMMU : A senior official of Jammu and Kashmir Government died today when his vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into river Chenab in Kishtwar district. “Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) identified as Yasir Arafad died this morning when a gypsy he was travelling in, skidded off the road and rolled down in river Chenab,” police here said.
He said that the vehicle was on its way from Kishtwar to Chatroo.
Police said that the injured ACD was shifted to hospital but was declared brought dead.
A case have been registered and investigation is on. (AGENCIES)
