JAMMU, Oct 8: On the auspicious occasion of Prakash Utsav of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha under its State President Surinder Bhagat organized a programme at party headquarters here today.
BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, who was the chief guest on the occasion, laid flowers at the portrait of Bhagwan Valmiki ji, alongwith other senior leaders of the party and Morcha.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while speaking on the occasion, said that Bhagwan Valmiki was a saint of super intelligence and fore sightedness who wrote the holy Ramayan hundreds of years earlier than the birth of Lord Rama and the following developments. He said that just remembering the great saints like Valmiki ji on one day in a year is not enough and each one of us should remember them every second and adopt their principles and teachings in our lives.
Surinder Bhagat said that the programme on this day is being organized with a motive to educate the young generation about the lives of some great saints of India and also to take pledge to work on the line being preached by such saints.
