JAMMU, Oct 8: Two persons today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu region.
According to police sources, a woman identified as Rajinder Kour (30) wife of Santo Singh and resident of RS Pura today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu
In another case, a woman identified as Gudia wife of Pramod and resident of New Plot (Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at her residence. She was immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu by the family members.
The condition of both the persons was stated to be stable when the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
