RAJOURI, Oct 9:  Students from Degree College Budhal today held protest demonstration against the State Higher  Education authorities and shouted slogans against concerned Minister Mohd Akbar Lone.
Over 350 students from Budhal College  boycotted their classes and started protest demonstration. They came out on the road in the shape of protest rally. After coming out from the Higher Secondary School premises, the rally passed through main market and then culminated at its origin.
The boys alleged that this college was given in 2007 and since then foundation stone laying ceremony has taken place twice. Second time, Higher Education Minister from NC  Mohd Akbar Lone had laid foundation stone at the site identified for college building but till today not even single brick or stone has been added to that stone. The people of the area were befooled by the Omar Government for the construction of college.
They pointed out that strength of the college students has crossed 350 now and there is no space in the Higher Secondary School for them. They demanded that construction work of the building be started without any delay, otherwise students would be forced to launch indefinite agitation.  The people from Budhal,  supporting this cause have decided to observe bandh in Budhal town tomorrow.
