JAMMU, July 21: Sarwal police today arrested a bike lifter and recovered two stolen motor cycles from his possession.
The bike lifter has been identified as Rakesh Kumar son of Thakur Dass, a resident of Sehzadpur, Marh.
Two motor cycles bearing registration Nos. 7258 JK02V and 3268 JK08V were recovered from the possession of arrested accused.
Police said the bike lifter was being quizzed to ascertain whether he was involved in more theft cases. A case has been registered against him.
A Sarwal police party headed by Incharge Sub Inspector Ravi Parihar made the arrest.
