43 Inspectors promoted

SRINAGAR, July 21: Government today ordered promotion of 43 Inspectors as Deputy Superintendents of Police in general executive cadre. Orders in this regard were issued by the Government on the recommendations of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission.
The promoted Inspectors include Veer Singh, Ajay Kumar, Bashir Ahmed, Gouri Shanker, Ali Mohammad Baba, Ghulam Hassan, Vidya Sagar, Sagar Singh, Syed Nasir, Mohammad Ilyas Pandit, Bashir Ahmed, Abdul Aziz Qadiri, Davinder Singh, Abdul Qayoom, Mohammad Aslam, Qazi Shams-ul-Muzaffar, Showkat Ahmad, Abdul Hamid, Sudershan Mehta, Reyaz Ahmad, Rajinder Prashad, Shafiq Ahmed, Joginder Singh, Mohammad Ashraf, Mukhtyar Ahmed, Nazir Ahmad, Gian Chand, Suraj Singh, Manzoor Hussain, Mohammad Farooq, Kartar Singh, Khursheed Ahmad, Reyaz Ahmad, Ghulam Hassan, Farooq Ali, Hilal Ahmad, Shah Skinder, Shahida Parveen, Zahid Lone, Aijaz Ahmed, Naseema Akhter, Davinder Singh and Subash Chander.
Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar has congratulated the promoted officers and has stressed upon them to rededicate themselves for public service with more zeal and dedication.
Mr. Rajendra said that the Organization has been making all efforts to provide promotion avenues to its personnel in all the ranks. He said that all relevant records have been updated at different levels to ensure quick implementation of recommendations of different (DPCs) and timely promotion of the cops.
