JAMMU, Oct 12: On the occasion of “World Arthritis day”, a free orthopaedic camp was organized by Dr Sumit Mahajan, MS, DNB, MCh (Orthopaedics), MNAMS in the premises of a temple at Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar.
Large numbers of patients were examined for various orthopaedic problems and free bone density test was also conducted.
Dr Sumit Mahajan created awareness amongst the masses about arthritis and importance of its timely treatment. He also educated people about the maintenance of their bone health and what all they can do to improve it.
On the occasion, Dr Rohit Bhatia, Physiotherapist also gave his services to the patients.
Santosh Gupta and Madan Gupta were main volunteers in the camp.
