JAMMU, Oct 12: A one-day workshop on personality development and communication skills was organized for the BBA and BCA students at Dogra Degree College.
Abhimanyu Dev Singh Billaworia, Director and Founder Communication County, Pune was the chief resource person of the workshop.
The workshop was inaugurated by secretary, Dogra Educational Trust, Samar Dev Singh Charak while it was presided over by Director, (Academics) Dogra Educational Trust, Prof BD Damral.
During the first half of the session, Abhimanyu emphasized the role of Neuro Linguistic programming in communication skills, personality development and quality decision making. He also stressed upon the impact of body language during communication and the skill of perception and image management using BPHAST rule.
During the second half of the session, Abhimanyu discussed about the art of argumentation using power point presentation along with examples and motivational videos. He also dwelt upon the value of time and prioritizing commitments.
