Kichloo takes stock of public grievances

KISHTWAR, Oct 12: Reaching out to the people of far flung areas of Trigam Block of District Kishtwar, Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Home, R&B. MED, Housing, H&UDD, Tourism and Culture Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today held a public grievance redressal meeting at Huer, Trigam.
DDC Kishtwar Mohd Javed Khan, ADDC A. S. Chib, ACR Sudershan Salaria, ASP Abdul Qauoom, Tehsildar Kishtwar Phulail Singh and all other District and Sectoral Officers were present in the meeting. A large number of people of adjoining villages including Panches and Sarpanches participated in the meeting.
Starting the meeting, the people apprised the Minister of various problems being faced by them. They highlighted the problems related to drinking water, need of new link roads,the shortage of teaching staff in schools and non payment of MGNREGA wages.
The Minister while listening to the problems of people sought detailed clarifications and action plan from the concerning officers of the district on the spot and asked them to take immediate steps to meet out their demands.
While addressing the people, the Minister said that he always believes in such kind of development where poor should not feel left out. He asked both people and administration to work for the progress of these remote areas. Pointing towards the establishment of new naibat and CD block in Trigam, he said that new era of development will be initiated in the area with these units and common people will be benefitted. He said that out of his CDF, new solar lights will be given to needy people.
On the direction of DDC Kishtwar, every district officer explained their schemes elaborately before the people and also addressed to their queries.
