JAMMU, Oct 13: Some local artists have formed a Club under the name and style of Jammu and Kashmir Art and Artists Club.
Daya Ram Daya has been elected as president of the Club. Ramesh Raina is the vice-president, Syed Parvaiz Hilal Azad general secretary, Aamir Khan secretary and Ashok Koul Lalpuri is publicity secretary of the Club.
The Club has approached Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for financial assistance and other help so that art related activities are held in the State.
