KISHTWAR, Oct 13: Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Home, R&B, Mech Engg, Housing and Urban Development, Tourism and Culture Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today inaugurated a series of developmental projects costing Rs 31 crore in Kishtwar.
Accompanied by DDC Kishtwar Mohd. Javed Khan, ADDC Kishtwar A S Chib, ASP Abdul Qayoom and other District and sectoral officers, the Minister inaugurated ANMT School at District Hospital Kishtwar. On the occasion, the Minister assured that the classes will start functioning soon and best quality of nursing training will be provided in this school. He informed that a new 100 bedded block, an eye block and Maternity and Child Care Block in the district hospital Kishtwar are also in the offing.
Mr. Kichloo also inaugurated new building of District Employment and Counseling Centre Kishtwar which has been constructed by R&B at a cost of Rs 1.33 crores.
Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that this new building of DE&CC should become a centre of excellence and common people of the district, especially educated unemployed youth should get benefitted. He directed the Employment Department to implement their schemes effectively in the district and impart counseling to the unemployed youth so that a new class of entrepreneurs may emerge from Kishtwar.
After that, the Minister inaugurated New Conference Hall and two blocks of New Administrative Complex of District Kishtwar that stand constructed by JK PCC at the combined cost of Rs 25 crore out of which Rs 2.90 crore comes the cost of New Conference Hall.
Mr Kichloo also inaugurated VIP block in Dak Banglow Kishtwar and up gradation work of Bus Stand Kishtwar.
Earlier in the morning, the Minister handed over regularization orders to 19 daily wagers of Municipal Committee Kishtwar in presence of DDC, ADDC, EO MC Kishtwar and other officers.
