LONDON, Oct 14: Singer Alexandra Burke has confirmed that she has parted ways with her management team.
The 26-year-old singer was signed to KWL with plans for a music relaunch, but she wrote in a blog post to fans that their joint aims have failed to materialise in the way they had hoped after starring in West End musical ‘The Bodyguard’, reported Digital Spy.
“‘The Bodyguard’ was a fantastic experience that allowed me to really learn a lot about myself… It was a true blessing to be out there constantly performing for you all. Thank you to those who travelled from near and far to support me during the show, it was a unforgettable moment in my career and I’m grateful I got the chance to share it with you all.
“Moving on, I believe it’s only right that I inform you all that I have parted ways with KWL. I was with KWL for 18 months and unfortunately what we had hoped to achieve didn’t come to fruition. Therefore, I felt it was best to go in a new direction and I wish KWL all the best with their future endeavours,” she said. (PTI)
