Arun tours Vijaypur villages, addresses public meetings

VIJAYPUR, Oct 14: Senior Congress leader and PCC member Arun Sharma conducted a tour of village Pakhri, Kajyal, Rattanpur, Khanpur, Dashmesh Nagar, Koulpur etc of Vijaypur Assembly segment and addressed a series of public meetings.
While addressing the gatherings, Arun Sharma exhorted the party workers to work hard for ensuring a Congress Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own after the forthcoming Assembly elections.
He stressed that Congress is only secular party, which represents all three regions of J&K while Ghulam Nabi Azad is the leader of masses, who has done a lot for the State during his tenure as Chief Minister as well as Union Minister in the previous Governments.
“Congress is going to form the next Government in J&K on its own and Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the Chief Minister,” Arun Sharma predicted and asked the party workers to leave no stone unturned for success of  Congress.  In Vijaypur Assembly constituency, we have 131 polling booth and 46 Panchayats, which need to be covered by the party workers for strengthening Congress and the hands of Sonia Gandhi, he added.
The meetings were attended by a large number of party workers and general public who highlighted the local issues as well as the preparation for forthcoming Assembly elections.
Several senior workers also addressed the meetings and extended all support to the candidature of young Arun Sharma, who has been serving the Congress party for the last 26 years with a clean image.
Those who addressed included Capt Baldev, Chura Mal, Dev Raj, S Dalip Singh, S Shamsher Singh, S Onkar Singh, S Surinder Singh, Pt Jog Raj, Bishamber Singh Slathia, Sardhari Lal, Kaka Gujjar and others.
