Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan celebrates Foundation Day

JAMMU, Oct 15:  Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan celebrated its Foundation Day by organizing an impressive function at Shri Ranbir Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
Prof Jagir Singh, former Head of the Department of Sanskrit, Jammu University, was the chief guest on the occasion while Principal of the Sanskrit Sansthan, Prof Ramanuja Devanathan presided over the function.
On the occasion, Mangalacharan was recited by Dr D Datanath while Prof Manoj Kumar Mishra presented a formal welcome address.
Prof Jagir Singh delivered a lecture on Kashmir Shaivdarshanam and threw light on the Kashmir Shaiv Darshan. He said that this philosophy has influenced spiritual traditions of others State of India, such as Tamil Nadu.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr Sabitri Shatpathy.
