JAMMU, Oct 15: NSS Unit of GDC Bishnah on the fifth day of ongoing National Integration NSS Camp organized a workshop on Art and Craft.
Fifty volunteers actively participated in the workshop and exposed their skills by making diyas, candles, greeting cards, etc.
Prof Kalpana Kesar, principal of the college was chief guest on the occasion. An extension lecture on ‘Skill Development’ was also delivered on the occasion by Prof Archana Bakshi, Dean, Students Welfare.
She deliberated upon the proper utilization of inherent technical skills of the youth that can help them in building up their career to build up an Integrated India. Further, she emphasized upon how little things learnt at an early stage can be of better assistance at a later stage of their career.
