The behaviour of Murtaza Khan is unfortunate and amounts to making mockery of his being an honourable member of the Council’’, the statement added.
The Legislative Party has demanded unconditional apology from Mr Khan and has also appealed the Chairman J&K Legislative Council to take strict action against him so that in future nothing of this sort happens.
The NC Legislative Party leader in Upper House Ajay Sadhotra also urged the PDP president to control their members. Their such actions are not going to bring PDP back to power, he added.

The Committee held first meet at Jammu on July 12 and it issued directives to concerned departments to furnish the papers, which they submitted on July 17 and the next meeting was held at Assembly Secretariat, Srinagar on July 18.
Khan said while going through records I came to know that some orders for land acquisition were issued by Mr Bakaya in his capacity as Commissioner Secretary, industries some years back and “I told him that the propriety demands that you should not sit as member of the Committee but he lost the temper and said that don’t teach me propriety’’.
