JAMMU, Oct 18: Three persons including a young girl today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu Region.
According to police sources, a girl namely Aarti Sharma (20) daughter of Sethi Sharma, resident of Nowshera today consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Similarly, one Sunny Dutt (27) son of Vijay Dutt and resident of Reshamghar Colony (Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
In another case, a middle aged man namely Kehar Singh (53) son of late Gokul Singh and resident of Hakkal (Satwari) consumed some poisonous substance after which he was shifted to GMCH by his family members.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
