JAMMU, Oct 18: A meeting of Durga Nagar Welfare Committee (DNWC) was held under the chairmanship of Roshan Lal Raina, its president.
The meeting expressed concern over delaying tactics of the Governemnt in opening the branch of J&K Bank in the area as consumers have to deposit electricity fee dues at Janipur branch which is already overloaded. Moreover it added to mental agony of residents, specially senior citizens and old aged persons, it added.
The meeting also made a plea to Executive Engineer PHE, City Division for execution of regular supply of water in their area. It was also stressed for black topping of roads and lanes.
The president of the association has also requested JDA for providing benches and lighting facility in the park which was agreed by XEn JDA in meeting of association held recently.
