KATHUA, Oct 20: One decomposed body of Raseela Begum aged in between 22 to 23 years, daughter of Muneer of Rajouri was found in a nearby forest, at Mangloor village, near Dinga Amb, today.
According to police, Raseela Begum had gone to her sister’s house at Mangloor village near Dinga Amb. Her body was found at near by forest some distance away from her sister’s house. Police added that she was missing from last three days. The body was handed over to the relatives after conducting post mortem. An FIR has been lodged under Section 302 RPC at Hiranagar Police station for further action.
Meanwhile, a girl made abortive bid on her life by consuming some poisonous substance at her residence.
According to police sources, a woman identified as Brinderjit Kour daughter of Joginder Singh consumed some poisonous substance at her residence in village Taraf Sangi near here following which she was shifted to District Hospital, Kathua from where she was immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu by the family members.
The condition of woman was stated to be stable when the last reports came in. Police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
